Mark (Maria) Alovert is back and currently in session.  She provides a basic and advanced course on the biodiesel process from getting the feedstock to making your own processor, to paying your taxes.  And we do have some available seats for Saturday and Sunday.

Complete with her trailer filled with her own biodiesel processor and paraphernalia, Mark arrived and offers her polished course content, providing reading materials before the class, including an actual biodiesel processor, and offering high octane information and hands-on activities in the advanced class.

The workshop is taking place at the Long Island Green Dome (a.k.a. Shea Studium) in Baiting Hollow.  The basic course has a few chairs free, and the advanced class has even more.   However, let us be human for a moment.  Although the price is firm, the class is catered to satisfy the recently enlightened to even the most seasoned biodiesel enthusiast.  It is also a networking opportunity.

There is a nuts and bolts manual (authored by Mark) available for $15 at the workshop, and will likely be available online.  I shall provide the link when  I get it.  However, I do have a link to a pdf file titled "Biodiesel Safety and Best Management Practices for Small-Scale oncommercial Use and Production" authored by a Penn State College of Agricultural Studies committee.
